Hello 66.193.232.253!

An editor of the article ] has asked me to help in mediating with you about the article.

Having a brief look, you seem to have issues about the content of this article. I am not making any judgment on your issues and would seek to avoid looking too much in-depth and thus making decisions of my own about the content.

Instead, I would like to remain blissfully ignorant about the article and the person in question.

What we need here is a useful way for you to contribute that will avoid edit wars with other editors. There are various ways and means to do this!

To start, I'm honor-bound to say "please ] with other editors". It's most likely that they're not pushing a point of view or setting out to undermine Misplaced Pages. They're just doing their best, just like you are. So stay cool and happy when editing. We're working together! Honest!

Now, you're unhappy with this article. There are a couple of things you can do.

First, we need to establish the root of your unhappiness. As I say, I'm staying neutral so I don't know why you're unhappy. So I'll try to guess! Is the article an {{tl|advert}}, or is it perhaps not written from a {{tl|npov}} (Neutral Point of View)? If so, you can edit the article and put either of those tags (the things in the curly brackets, including the curly brackets) at the top of the article, then save. This lists the article for professional attention. This takes time, but it also warns readers to take stuff with a healthy dose of scepticism in the meantime.

Now, another editor suspects that you might like the entire article deleting. That's fine, we do that. But only after community discussion.

If you would like to have us discuss the deletion of the article, here's what to do.

Firstly, register for an account. It's free, takes ten secounds and requires no personal information from you (you can, but don't have to, give your email address as part of this). Requests for deletion from anon editors like you are generally ignored because so many anon editors are vandals. Sorry!

Now, with your new ('''more''' anonymous) account you can work on requesting a deletion debate. You'll need to follow the instructions ]. There are three steps, and they need to be carried out to the letter. If you don't, your request will disappear (or never appear). The system is complicated at first glance, but if it wasn't we'd have all 1.5million articles nominated within a week, believe me!

For your reason for deletion, try to be concise, but give details too. You should be able to sum it up in about 50 words at most. Avoid attacking other editors or their edits (this goes down badly for obvious reasons). Be nice, open and clear but direct. Say what your problem is and how deletion would solve it.

Then we'll sit back and wait. In order to be neutral, I won't get involved, but you can address any questions directly to my ] (follow the instructions at the top of that page) and I'll try to help out or I'll even intervene if there are problems.

We can move on from there if you're still unhappy.

Let me know if you're not happy with these plans. If you're happy, feel free to drop me a line to say so but otherwise I'll just assume all is okay with you.

Happy editing! ]<b><font color="red">]</font></b> 20:40, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

James Dicks

Hello 66.193.232.253!

An editor of the article James Dicks has asked me to help in mediating with you about the article.

To start, I'm honor-bound to say "please assume good faith with other editors".

Is the article an {{advert}}, or is it perhaps not written from a {{npov}} (Neutral Point of View)?

Sorry!

Now, with your new (more anonymous) account you can work on requesting a deletion debate. You'll need to follow the instructions here.

In order to be neutral, I won't get involved, but you can address any questions directly to my talk page (follow the instructions at the top of that page) and I'll try to help out or I'll even intervene if there are problems.

We can move on from there if you're still unhappy.

Let me know if you're not happy with these plans. If you're happy, feel free to drop me a line to say so but otherwise I'll just assume all is okay with you.
