Muhammad Ilyas Qadri (Urdu: محمد الياس عطار قادرى) also known as "ameer e ahle sunnat","Aashiqe Rasool(Lover of Prophet SAW)" and Bappa is a Pakistani islamic scholar who founded Dawat-e-Islami, a movement aimed at the preaching of Islam, in 1981 in Karachi, Pakistan. He is also a sufi master who initiates his followers into the Qadri order, one of the famous sufi orders.He is banned in Mecca and Medina by Saudi government because he was accused of evoking sectarian divisions among the barelvis and wahabis inside the mosques by making his own separate congregational prayers.
