Nancy is the youngest member of the group, with the age gap between she and Momoland’s oldest member, Hyebin, is 4 years, 3 months, and 1 day.

Early life

Nancy was born on Thursday, April 13, 2000 in Daegu, South Korea. Her father, Richard Jowel McDonie, is an American of Irish descent, and her mother, Lee Myeong-ju (Hangul: 이명주), is a Korean. Her older sister, Brenda Lee McDonie, is a cellist.

She was raised in the USA, and then returned to Korea in time to attend high school with some of her future group mates. Nancy, Jane, and JooE all attended the Hanlim Multi Arts High School.

In 2011, Nancy competed on the first season of Korea's Got Talent.

Career
