current projects

Currently focusing, and working on the continuation of cemetery segregation in Southwest Texas and the historical massacres of the Texas Rangers in the Nueces strip from 1830s-1920s. Have been know to get sidetracked into other (mostly) historical avenues of research.

We had a long discussion when I got home and the puppy listened intently until I was done, then dropped the squeaky ball in my lap for me to throw it. I'm afraid you have it backwards while missing the extend of the problem. You need to get consensus, and trying to do that by edit-warring is inappropriate. Thanks, it's just hard. I had to dive into over 200 websites to develop that page (and some of them pure racism), then I had to go through all the conflicts of information and sort them out, only to have someone come through an pick out the off source to say, 'this is the only truth'. This is the second time, the first was over a source mistaking the Confederate Stars and Bars with the Betsy Ross Flag in one story, but again, I found many more that had the correct info. I applaud your effort, but মাখামাখি, you have taken on a massive undertaking. Narrow your focus to one country or even one region for starters. It takes time to compile such a list and your criteria is not specific. You say song writers that have written at least 100 songs, but is that songs that are published? Or just written? Please be more specific and also narrow your focus, more countries, regions and continents can be added later. C. W. Gilmore (talk) 15:31, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
