I'll soon start an article about Niko Nikoladze but unfortunately I could not find sufficient info about Geno Adamia (may him rest in peace). I'm delighted by Lang's book. I found many facts totally unknown to me especially those related to the 1905 revolution and the extent of destruction by the Russian punitive forces. Well, Luis. I have not read Suny cover to cover. Judging from the chapters I’ve looked through, he seems to be not always impartial but I still think he is a good scholar. Some Georgians accuse him of having pro-Armenian bias on a number of controversial issues because Suny is American-Armenian. On the other hand, as far as I know Armenians don’t like Suny for some of his works. |
