  • Definitely appeared to be a Russian web site. What's odd is that it appeared to have been a commercial Russian web site, sort of like the front page of a Russian version of Yahoo, with banner ads and everything. I suppose we could presume that with the US government having shut down the Internet with that wacky "Emergency Alert System" banner (*rolls eyes*), Hawkins was using the satellite dish to connect to an unaffected Russian ISP.
