Taking a Chance on Love is an album by American jazz singer Jane Monheit. Taking a Chance on Love was released on September 7, 2004. It was Monheit's fifth album, her first solo album with major music label Sony, and also was her second Sony-labeled album after serving as guest singer in the 2003 Sony-labeled Mark O'Connor album Hot Swing Trio: In Full Swing. Taking a Chance on Love was Monheit's first collaboration with multi-Grammy Awards winning producers Peter Asher and Al Schmitt.
