"Yucai" (育才) means "education" in ], so there are many schools named Yucai in China.

==History==
The school was established in 1939 in ], just outside the ] capital of Chongqing, by educator ].{{fact|date=August 2014}} A leader of one of the two CCP cells at Tao’s school recalled that Tao and his patron ] helped party workers when they were hunted by the secret police, and that Tao professed interest in ]’s “On New Democracy.” Tao received monthly stipends from fellow Anhui natives Feng and Zhang Zhizong.<ref>Wei Dongming, “Weidadi Renmin jiaoyujia dazong shijen” (A great people’s educator, poet of the masses), in Tao Xingzhi jinian wenji (Chengdu: Sichuan Peoples Publishing House, 1982), pp. 101–103.</ref>
