| The department of Mbagne is characterized by its geographical position. Located between Gogol and Brakna (region to which it is attached), it has four large municipalities M'Bagne , Niabina , Bagodine . and Edbaye El Hijaj . | |||
| The villages are divided between Djèri or dieri and Walo those of Djèri have perhaps had more gifts of nature because they overhang the fertile lands of Walo Populated largely by farmers, breeders and fishermen, this department lives the hazards of a hostile nature.
