Hacking Democracy is a 2006 documentary film by Simon Ardizzone and Russell Michaels, and produced by HBO. It is intended to raise questions about the integrity of Diebold voting machines. Diebold requested that the documentary not be shown. Although no one from Diebold Election System had seen the film, President David Byrd suggested that "Hacking Democracy" was "replete with material examples of inaccurate reporting."
