Young Chang (including the brands Bergmann, Pramberger, and Kurzweil electronical music system) is a famous Korean piano maker. The company was founded in Korea in 1956 by 3 brothers, Jai-Young Kim, Jai-Chang Kim and Jai-Sup Kim. Its foundation marked a new era of pianomaking in South Korea. The brand Young Chang may not be as well known or prestigious as such brands as Steinway & Sons, Bösendorfer or Yamaha but its quality is comparable to many other brands (Kawai, Petrof, Érard etc.)
Currently, Young Chang has more than 2000 full time workers, designing and building the Young Chang, Bergmann, Pramberger upright and grand pianos. In its 40 years of history, Young Chang has evolved into one of the world leaders in piano and music industry.
