For the italian neofolk band, see Søren.

Søren (Template:IPA-da; Norwegian: [ˈsøːɳ̍]) or Sören (Template:IPA-sv; Template:IPA-de) is a Scandinavian given name, sometimes Anglicised as Soren. The name is derived from that of the 4th-century Christian saint Severin of Cologne, ultimately derived from the Latin severus ("severe, strict, serious").
