In Pakistan, about two million people are in bonded labour. Slavery is illegal in Pakistan. Australian mining billionaire and philanthropist Andrew Forrest has made a deal with the province of Punjab to give it access to a technology making diesel from coal for laws against forced labor. Pakistan has forced marriage, sale or exploitation of children and human trafficking.
