Heinz Gottfried Nawratil (18 June 1937 in Suchdol nad Odrou, Czechoslovakia – 15 May 2015) is a German lawyer, legal author and human rights activist.

After World War II Nawratil settled in Bavaria, West Germany, where he grew up in Miesbach. He studied law, earned a doctorate and has been working as a civil law notary since 1970. He was awarded the Förderpreis of the »Stiftung der Deutschen Gemeinden und Gemeindeverbände zur Förderung der Kommunalwissenschaften« in 1965. He has written books on legal subjects which have been printed in over a million copies. He is also known for his research on the expulsion of Germans after World War II.
