The third season of the Black Clover anime TV series was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and produced by Pierrot. The season premiered on October 1, 2019, on TV Tokyo in Japan. Both Crunchyroll and Funimation licensed the series for an English release, with Crunchyroll simulcasting the third season, and Funimation producing a North American SimulDub broadcast.

The third season uses two pieces of theme music: one opening theme and one ending theme. The opening and ending themes are "RiGHT NOW" by EMPiRE and "Life is a Battlefield" (人生は戦場だ, Jinsei wa Senjō da) by Kalen Anzai.
