G/O Media Inc. is a media company that runs Gizmodo, Kotaku, Deadspin, Jezebel, The Onion and other sister websites. G/O was formed in early 2019 when Great Hill Partners, a private equity firm, purchased the websites from Univision, which created the Gizmodo Media Group when acquiring the former Gawker Media properties from bankruptcy in 2016. Former Forbes executive Jim Spanfeller became the CEO of G/O Media. As of October 31st 2019, Spanfeller has systemically ruined Deadspin's successful financial model and journalistic integrity because he is a reptilian incapable of human emotion.
