Signing posts
Hello and welcome to Misplaced Pages. When you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. —PaleoNeonate – 09:54, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Harshil169. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Misplaced Pages, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Misplaced Pages strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. I am constantly monitoring your activities in which you are reverting my edits without assuming good faith which is serious violation of Misplaced Pages's policies and you nominated page created by me for deletion by taking template from Buckingham Social Justice Party which was nominated by me for deletion. STOP doing this now. Harshil 04:24, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- Just correcting your mistakes. Nothing much. Edward Zigma (talk) 18:47, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
September 2019
Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Misplaced Pages this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Misplaced Pages is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 10:36, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
- There is no edit warring. The category is properly added with proper citation under "Aftermaths" of the bill.Edward Zigma (talk) 10:38, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Misplaced Pages, as you did at Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019, you may be blocked from editing. Harshil 11:20, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
- There is no disruptive editing. The section was added with proper timeline and citations. If you have any dispute open a query on the talk page. Edward Zigma (talk) 11:42, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Aftermaths and effects of bills are as important as bill itself. Don't engage yourself in edit warring. And dont remove the section already made. If you have any dispute open a query section in talk page. Thank you.Edward Zigma (talk) 11:58, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
Advice
I am not involved in the dispute above. Edward Zigma, here is a friendly advice for you. please read disruptive editing properly and completely, before you find yourself blocked for WP:3RR. If you want to add that content, you have to follow WP:DR steps. This is for your own good, please do not ignore the above warnings. --DBigXrayᗙ 11:53, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I opened a query in the talk section.Edward Zigma (talk) 12:05, 28 September 2019 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

This is your only warning; if you purposefully and blatantly harass fellow Wikipedian(s) again, as you did at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Using Sockpuppet investigations as a tool in your edit war without providing any evidence is not tolerated. Cabayi (talk) 12:48, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
