Amongst its businesses, it operates a number of bus routes under contract from the Victorian State Government. The company utilises a number of brands, including Westrans, Eastrans, Benders Buslines and Davis.

The Kefford Corporation was started in the early 1850s by Richard Papworth Kefford.
Recent history
In January 1976, acquired Point Cook - Werribee Passenger Service Pty. Ltd. In December 1981 acquired H. A. Davis Motor Service Pty. Ltd. in Ballarat. In August 1987, acquired the Bono Bus Services in Footscray, Highpoint City, and East Keilor. in January 1988, acquired Sitch Bus Services (Sunshine, North Sunshine, St. Albans, Footscray, Yarraville, Altona, Laverton, and Williamstown), and Sinclair Bus Services (Monash University, Elwood, and Gardenvale). In June 2000, acquired Benders Buslines.
