Introduction

I started by anonymously editing a few wikipedia articles that I thought needed some work. That work spun out to visiting and editing related articles. I finally decided that I needed to sign up so that I can have a Watch List, get proper credit (or blame) for my edits, etc.

Right now, I'm working on a number of the Japanese poetry topics, such as haiku, senryu, renga, waka, and kigo, plus the pages for the associated poets such as Matsuo Basho and Masaoka Shiki. I'll also probably be doing some revisions for some of the wikipedia webpages for cities in my area, including Long Beach, Signal Hill, and Seal Beach, California (besides the minor fact correction that I've already done).

For most of my other interests (genealogy, gardening, computers, etc), there should be people that should know much more than me, so if I add anything on those topics, it would be mostly digesting and regurgitating various print and internet sources.

Still, it surprises me all the places that I can do even small changes. I recently added an IMDB link template to a movie ("Pull My Daisy") that Jack Kerouac worked on, for example. gK ¿? 13:51, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
