Regarding your HTM entry: You cannot "rigorously" base an algorithm on something that is not fully understood, like biology or the human brain. Our current knowledge of the human brain is still little, otherwise we would already be curing several metal disorders and developing strong AI. There are several theories in neuroscience, some of them even contradictory. HTM itself has undergo several revisions, so it just cannot be "strictly" based on anything, because "strict" is not a term you can grade. Are you endorsed to the authors of HTM somehow? |

== tags for ] == |

You edited the article ] to include several cn (and other) tags. An example is the following. |
{{quote|In informal contexts, "likelihood" is often used as a synonym for "]". In statistics, a distinction{{clarify|reason=a distinction of what??}} is made depending on the roles of outcomes vs. parameters{{clarify|reason=What's the precise meaning of "roles of outcomes vs. parameters"???}}. ''Probability'' is used, before data are available, to describe possible future outcomes, given a fixed value for the parameter (or parameter vector). ''Likelihood'' is used, after data are available, to describe a function of a parameter (or parameter vector) for a given ''outcome''.}} |
Both cn tags are wrong, because the clarification is given in the next two sentences. (You should have read to the end of the paragraph, before adding those tags.) All the tags that you added have now been removed. ] (]) 08:12, 14 October 2017 (UTC) |

== Readability == |
Articles such as ] do not benefit when you litter them with "by whom" etc. templates. |
Misplaced Pages should remain generally readable, and we only ask for specific references, if the answer cannot be found in the general references of the article. |
On support vector machines, such general references are probably the paper by Cortes and Vapnik, Schölkopf and Smola, etc. - for these, a general reference should be enough, rather than re-attributing every other statement to them again. Also, the reference for some of your "by whom" may be simple the one at the ''end'' of the sentence, instead of referencing every word. |
I think you are overdoing it with your recent changes to SVM. Please reconsider. ] (]) 18:23, 13 May 2018 (UTC) |

A tag has been placed on ] requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under ], because the page appears to be an unambiguous ]. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-319-52941-7_28 and http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.92.1635&rep=rep1&type=pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of ''information'', but not as a source of ''sentences''. This part is crucial: ''say it in your own words''. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators '''will be ]'''. |
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you ''must'' verify that externally by one of the processes explained at ]. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see ] for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at ] for more details, or ask a question ]. |

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by ] and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
