June 19, 2020 (2020-06-19) (Friday) Law and crime- A police officer is killed and another seriously injured in a shooting in Massey, New Zealand. This is the first time a law enforcement officer in New Zealand has been killed in the line of duty since 2009. The shooter fled, injuring a civilian in the process, and has since been arrested.
