Batina is located in CroatiaBatinaBatinaBatina (Croatia)

Batina is a village and port on the right bank of the Danube in the region of Baranja, Croatia, 25 km northeast of Osijek; elevation 105 m. The chief occupation is farming.

Batina is located on the main road (M 17.1) Osijek-Batina-Bezdan. In 1974 the road bridge over the Danube was built. It is a state border crossing.

The recreational and bathing resort "Zeleni Otok" (Green Island) offers a number of opportunities in the warm part of the year, especially water sports. It is also the centre of the Baranja Art Colony.

A continuity of settlement from the Middle Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age has been discovered on the Gradac hill.
