Hey Lucky - Eid Baba is not a holiday. It's like Secret Santa except IN celebration of two Muslim holidays, Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha. It's gaining in momentum but has only been around for 3 years. Hello,
You recently deleted an article I created, with the following reason: "This is NOT the Urban Dictionary!".
To which I reply: "Inclusion in the Urban Dictionary is not criteria for speedy deletion!"
This article as created didn't meet any of the ]. It's not nonsense, it's not indiscriminate, and it's got plenty of established usage. It's not offensive, advertising, vandalism, a copyvio, or anything else in the speedy deck. Just because you are an administrator does not give you the right to unilaterally delete articles just because you feel like it without seeking the consensus of the community. Your role as an administrator is to act upon the community consensus, not zap things as you see fit outside of what's listed in ]. If you feel the article should be deleted, your right is to list it on AfD and nothing more (until the AfD reaches closing time, of course).
While the material is easily reposted, I strongly recommend you undo this particular deletion. Otherwise, judging from your talk page, your on-the-spot deletions appear to be a problem that will merit some arbitration attention. ] 09:36, 31 December 2006 (UTC) |

Regarding Suicide Silence deletion
Requesting reasoning behind the speedy delete and protection of Suicide Silence. The afore mentioned death metal band is a well-known band with a rapidly growing fanbase. --ARandomHeretic 07:35, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- After reviewing information from other administrators, I found reasoning behind the deletion. As you were the administrator who protected from recreation, I'd like to request that the page be unprotected so I can write an effective article. Cheers, --ARandomHeretic 20:23, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Question
Is it against any rule to have some text in an article apear in a colour other than black? frummer 07:54, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

There was no need to remove this article, it was about my friend who is an up-and-coming model (and by the way we cited sources). The fact that he is not THAT famous yet does not give you the right to remove his page. Because of you, I must now try to dig up the original page and restore it. You are of no help. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bovester (talk •

Deletion of article William T. Stromberg
Hi. I was just wondering why this article William T. Stromberg was deleted. Your deletion summary was not clear; it made it seem like the fact that I was the only contributor allowed you to delete the article (which I had just created!). If it is for another reason, please say so clearly in your deletion summaries. Was it because I did not cite the sources (which I didn't...yet)? Was it because the article was "too" small? Was it because the subject was not portrayed as "notable" in the article?
Additionally, if you are going to delete pages, please make sure no other pages link to the article (particularly redirects like William Stromberg). Thank you and have a nice holiday season! --Horncomposer 00:47, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
deletion of Chatsworth Hills Academy page
Hi--
I was still drafting this page when you deleted it for an apparent violation of copyright. I am president of the board of trustees of the school and have authority to create this Wiki entry using verbatim or modified excerpts from the website and other school resources (e.g, parent/student handbook, trustee manual, etc. I would like to see the page undeleted so I can continue my entry. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vjcos (talk • contribs).
Emcee T
Why does this page get deleted? I own copyright to all images, and all information is factual with links / media to prove. Emcee T is a hip-hop artist well documented in numerous nationwide magazines and newspapers. Please advise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emceetstaff (talk • contribs)
- Lucky, this was put on your archive 5 page, I've blocked the user for being a role account/username, but left the boxes unchecked so they can create a new account if they want. -Mak (talk) 23:08, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Accusations
Yeah, I know it was a preformatted message, but it was still quite insulting. I marked Is asking questions a sin? Community for a speedy delete, so Im not sure what you're accusing me of. -Metao 09:35, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
