Why are you adding "North America" to the maps of major cities? Magnolia677 (talk) 20:52, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

Strange edit

Hi Radom1967, I'm a little confused by your edit to the Berlin article: Special:Diff/868781226/868781356. It seems to be a pointless edit that adds a space to the end of a paragraph. Could you explain? Thanks. --IamNotU (talk) 13:33, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

Washington, D.C.

Hey, Radom - thanks for updating those stats - 2011 had become pretty stale. When you make updates like that though, please read the entire sentence (paragraph!) that you're updating to make sure that the single thing you're changing still makes sense in context. In this case you'd brought some figures up to 2018 but left standing the part that described DC's ranking - as of 2011. I'm sure that's the problem that the other editor identified when they reverted you (however inartfully it was expressed in the edit summary). Also it's almost always helpful to preview your edits before you publish them - you probably would have caught that syntax problem I wound up fixing for you. Anyhow, thanks for the new info, and I hope this is helpful. JohnInDC (talk) 14:16, 17 December 2018 (UTC)

Citations

Hi Radom1967, I noticed you changed the GDP figure for Berlin in this edit: . Although the figure is correct, you didn't provide a reliable source, or update the existing one, leaving it with a broken reference, and you didn't update the rest of the sentence, which stated it was "an increase of about 5.4%". I see that you did basically the same thing back in February with this edit: . Please try to be more careful about providing citations, thanks... --IamNotU (talk) 21:06, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

1⁄6 might be a good enough approximation for 16% but 22% is not the same as 1⁄4.

By the way, if you do have a valid reason to use an (accurate) fraction, please use template:frac. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 10:18, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
