I am retiring from Misplaced Pages - I find it too stressful, and all the personal allegations really got to me. Thank you to the editors that were supportive of my edits. I am appreciative of the editors that accused me of being a paid promoter, sock-puppet or a person having a COI. My personal life suffered because of Misplaced Pages, and some of the practices here really concern me, but psychologically I need to quit entirely. You know who you are, and I hope that you are nicer to new editors with a different opinion in the future (not everyone here has bad intentions - trust me). I also thank the editor who initially tried to ban me - even though I do not agree with him/her completely, at least he/she was consistent and reliable in his/her edits - I can appreciate that, and I entrust his/her vision on some of the pages I was involved in (you also know who you are - thank you). I am just a minor editor here on Misplaced Pages, so I don't expect anyone to read this. But in case you wonder where I am, I am gone, for good. Goodbye, さようなら. ] (]) 04:23, 14 May 2020 (UTC) | |||
The pages of MDPI and some other (open access) publishers are hijacked by a bunch of biased editors with way too much power. The corruption is appalling, but if you as an editor would like to change the MDPI page for the positive be prepared to be very patient. There is no way to fight this, and that's why I retired, I guess its waiting for someone to ban those with a real COI. If you are interested which editors I suspect that have a COI, please send me a message on my talk page, and see what we can do together within this Misplaced Pages system to achieve justice. I retired from editing, because it is wasted energy, but there must be something else we can do within the limits of the Misplaced Pages universe |

There are certain editors editing the MDPI page who most definitely have a conflict of interest. Those editors undo any change, even if the edit is "neutral". These people will try to get you banned or are tarnishing your reputation if you have a different opinion from them. I urge other people to find ways to have these people reported, as the corruption is appalling and obvious. ] (]) 04:10, 24 October 2020 (UTC) |
