Dhoom 2 (Hindi: धूम 2, Urdu: ٢ ﺩﻬﻭﻡ, Tamil: தூம் 2) is a 2006 Bollywood film directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra. The movie is a sequel to the 2004 hit, Dhoom. The film was released on November 24 2006. This movie has been dubbed into Telugu and Tamil; those versions were released on the same day as the Hindi-Urdu version.

The film is Gadhvi's fourth directorial venture after Tere Liye (2000), Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2002), and Dhoom (2004), and his third with Yash Raj Films. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Pritam and lyrics were penned by Sameer. Cinematographers were Vikas Sivaraman and Nirav Shah; the film was edited by Rameshwar S. Bhagat. The film was shot partially in-studio, in India, and also on location in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and Durban, South Africa.

The film is also noteworthy because its soundtrack is the first in India to be released in DVD-Audio, along with other audio formats.

The film has sparked controversy for a scene containing a kiss, and a court case is currently pending in India.

Mr. A, in the meantime, is caught by the wiles of Sunehri (Aishwarya Rai), who claims to be Mr. A's major fan. He agrees to take her into partnership, not knowing that she is actually working for the police.

Mr. A and Sunehri fly to Rio de Janeiro, where Mr. A plans another big heist. The police oficers , Jai and Ali, follow. Mr. A. finds out that Sunehri is working against him and accuses her of treachery; she realizes that she loves him and joins him in earnest.
