Thanks for your suggestion. Hinduism itself is a vast and diversified subject. I have no idea who has created it. I have no idea, how to find it out. Normally, history shows particular edit. Diwali

I was looking into the Diwali article and I noticed something strange. The intro paragraph said that Diwali was celebrated in Buddhism, which struck me right away as strange since I am rather familiar with Buddhism (East Asian at least), and I am pretty sure we don't celebrate Diwali. I tried to search the article for an explanation but I didn't find one. I was hoping that you could tell me if there is a significance of Diwali in Buddhism or if it at least is historical. Please help me with a WIKI article related conflict in the India-Pakistan section of FN CHarles de Gaulle. There is a user (UberCryxic) who keep on reverting unilaterally to sections that involve unverified claims (in my opinion). What are the WIKI rules? Please arbitrate. Fair Use images

When I initially joined Misplaced Pages, about 2 years back, I did upload a handful of images under the Fair Use criteria without fully understanding it. Eventually, most of them got rightfully deleted while a lot others remain. Your dedication to remove images tagged as Fair Use but not meeting the Fair Use criteria is inspiring. Sorry to load you with long message meant for you along with others.

Being a Hindu from India and having attempted to edit the article, my experience is, no worthy edits are allowed in the article and the same is tried to be monopolised by a single editor. To me, the article is projecting improper connotation of the subject Hinduism. The references lead to a book source page and is not true reference to the respective text incorporated. The article is victim of sock-puppetry. Incivility is used to discourage other editors. Even if, the layout or the text is otherwise good, the article has to do justice to the subject matter but the article is forced to be devoid of logics of Hinduism doctrines and created to be seen Hinduism doctrines as superstitious which as a Hindu, I object. In principle, the article should be free for worthy edits which under one or other pretext or by sock-puppetry tactics is prevented from. It would be apparent from the talk page of Hinduism that incivility is freely used to discourage other edits. Citations for the matter of general knowledge of Hindus is sought and removed whereas other matters without due citations or supported by improper or false citations incorporated by a single editor or a group stay.

Is this all done to get FAC? then it's wrong.

While feeling honour as a Hindu, if, this article is nominated as FAC, I in principle plead that it should be considered whether right cause is backed by right means? Swadhyayee 07:34, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

(To Mr.Tony.) I have seen you applying mind to Hinduism shortcomings. My concern is HeBhagawan do not allow right connotations being incorporated in the article. My feeling is, it is due to the article having been nominated for FAC apart from his personal belief to be most fit to write Hinduism article.

I suffer a great deal of pain when Hinduism is projected dimly. I do not want to improperly glorify Hinduism but I want that right connotations of Hinduism find it's place in the article. Hinduism has capability to provide thinking for human religion, rather is a human religion. The philosophy imbibed in Hindus make them tolerant to contradictory views and contradictory customs. Hindus have a very large population. One may experience isolated incidents or groups intolerant to contradictory views and customs but average Hindu is very tolerant, co-operative and helping.

I am deadly against the psyche of any editor of not allowing others to incorporate facts of general knowledge in the name of citation. Though Hindus are strict vegetarians and believe in idol worship, they are not vengeful against Muslims. There may exist element of dislike but it's due to some other reasons. Christains and Parsis though non-veg. have excellent relationship with Hindus. This I am saying to support my statement that Hinduism is a human religion and I wish Hinduism is properly explained in the Misplaced Pages article.

To my mis-fortune, enough knowledgable editors are either not available or do not come forward to help. I am pretty sure that HeBhagawan is involved in sock-puppetry.

If you observe, he has to frequently edit his statements and yet you could point out poor language. In spite of this, he has been repeatedly involving in incivil comments against me that my English is not good, is full of grammatical mistakes, give a different meaning, my contributions damage the article and exhibit un-fettered authority by suggesting me to edit other articles or edit in other languages and is being supported by Priyanath to suggest me to write blogs or personal websites.

I have principled objections against Misplaced Pages articles being deprived of free edits. I believe, howsoever good one editor may be, he has no extra constitutional authority to prevent someone from incorporating additional facts in Misplaced Pages articles that not known to him. It's still worst to involve in sock-puppetry to make incivil coments to serve the malice purpose.

I do not know whether you have a chair of authority to help me or not but I found you interested in preserving standard for FAC and I wish you also hold views of significance of right means behind a right cause.

Is it with the actual map itself or with the information on the page List of tributaries of Imperial China? Also consider that some of the unlisted sources could have been from Tributary states in Chinese history - in Simplified Chinese listed in the external links. I believe Sri Lanka paid tribute to the Ming Dynasty as a result of Zheng He fleet expeditions (a source is already provided) and Afghanistan, Nepal, and Bhutan were part of the tributary system during the Tang dynasty pre-Battle of Talas River. 24630 02:45, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

What about "fair use"? Like, the Delhi pic depicts Delhi. That is precisely what we are depicting on wikipedia.Fair use on Delhi article only should be ok.The sansad image is used in multiple articles so fair use it a bit itschy on that one. The akshardham image is not used anywhere so go ahead and get that removed. I hadn;t realized that wikipedia already has a good akshardham image.Hkelkar 21:31, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

In the Indian Navy article, that you have contributed requires a citation for the part According to a report published by the US Congress, the Indian Navy could be among the top three navies in the world by 2009.. The report cannot be found. Your help is required in this regard.

Hi Deepak please dont remove Karan Sing from Jammu & Kashmir, he is the would be "Maharaja / king" of all of Jammu & Kashmir, please check history. His father was king he stepped down from throne and he acceded to India like so many Royals did from all the Princly States.

Some people still respect him on all 3 sides of the Borders of J&K, he may someday help people to come together and reach some understanding, atleast he can do some good on his own, he has a historical connection to this disputed land and its people, we can atleast provide a link to people for an important chapter in the history of J&K and a very important personality of the state.

You seem to be obssed with the Jammu and Kashmir article on Misplaced Pages, anybody can make it out, you have got stuck and are going on and on about it, you dont respect other peoples viws too, as for me I think there should be a link to Dr Karan Singh's article here, which was just a stub, so I was trying to develop it, thats all, you are playing politics over the whole issue, please think with informational and historical point of view.....

I have also copyed this discussion with you in the Jammu and Kashmir as well as Dr Karan Singh's discussion page, just for the record that Dr Karan Singh article was discussed, as it is a legitimate discussion.

PUNE: An expert committee from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) has ruled out any structural modification to the advanced Sukhoi-30 MKI, if it has to be fitted with the supersonic Brahmos cruise missile.

The development assumes significance as the IAF had expressed reservation on the feasibility of fitting the three-tonne missile on a Su-30 MKI, saying the excessive weight was incompatible for the fighter fleet.

In May, A. Sivathanu Pillai, the chief controller (R&D ), DRDO, had told TOI that decks have been cleared to conduct the first trials of the air-to-land version of Brahmos from a Sukhoi-MkI fighter jet by next year end.

“A joint team of experts from the IAF, the Sukhoi Design Bureau, Brahmos Aerospace and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited was constituted to conduct a feasibility study,” a senior official told TOI , confirming the development.

“The expert committee has come to the conclusion that no structural changes are required in the aircraft to fit the Brahmos,” the official said. Experts are now working to accommodate at least two missiles in the aircraft, he added.

“The challenge is to try and fit one missile under each of the two wings of the Su-30 MKI,” the official said, adding that the integration trials of a dummy missile are scheduled in the first quarter of next year.

Efforts are also on to modify the control panel in the cockpit, which will allow the pilot to fire the missile at ease. With the induction of the 290-km range cruise missile, the city is poised to emerge as the country’s top strategic defence base. Iranis are a different zorostrian community. they are indian zoros who came from iran recently, like a hundred years ago, as opposed to parsis, who were there longer. see Irani for details. some iranis consider themselves parsi, if they are greatly mixed, like me, but he wasnt, so he is irani, as most consider themselves.
