In June 2020, Larsson announced the single "]" through Instagram. She released the song and music video on 10 July 2020. On the same day, an interview with her and ] was published. She announced that her new album would be released after summer 2020. She also said: "I am prepared in a completely different way. I have the next song ready, album cover, the video, the album is done. I just feel ready in a different way."
