Template:Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The flag of the Republika Srpska is based on the red-blue-white Serbian tricolour.
The republic is part of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has its own flag.
The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has voted against the use of the current flag of Republika Srpska. It has stated that nationalistic symbols for both the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska are not acceptable. Both entities have six moths, starting from January 27, 2007, to develop new designs. This decision is in order to prevent national segregation in the entities. Constitutional Court ruling
