Thanks for your message regarding the most recent page that I added. I made some small edits to Misplaced Pages before, but this is the first time I am included in an editors' discussion. Is the "talk" the only way Misplaced Pages editors or authors communicate? (Sorry about newbie question - will try to read more of the guidelines.) Vlado1 (talk) 14:07, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Bigsworth chart board
Hello, Msrasnw, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. I edit here too, under the username Samf4u, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Bigsworth chart board, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Misplaced Pages in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Bigsworth chart board.
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Samf4u}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Brennan
Hah - you got there first, while I was formatting my refs and using {{subst:L}}! PamD 09:04, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- - I was going to go for Archie Brennan (tapestry maker) but (weaver) is nicer. It is nice that there are still so many gaps on WP. Let us see how far it gets. :) (Msrasnw (talk) 09:09, 18 February 2021 (UTC))
Once upon a year in the far past ...
... dear Msrasnw, you added a Needhangul template to the Talk:O-Gon Kwon page. There is an interwiki-Link to the Korean wikipedia included in the O-Gon Kwon page. What do you think about it, can we copy-paste the name from there? (I am a native speaker of german, i am not precisely informed about the uses and rules of en Misplaced Pages.) --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 18:27, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
- Dear Himbeerbläuling, thanks for letting me know. I will have a think ... but there is Hangul now in the info box so I am not sure if is really needed in the main text. There is probably some guidance somewhere that says it should... but I am not sure whether to do it. BEst wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 13:56, 17 March 2021 (UTC))
- Thank you. And best wishes to you. --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 17:09, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- Dear Himbeerbläuling had a go at it now. Not sure if it is OK but... Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 11:17, 18 March 2021 (UTC))

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Joy of Painting, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alizarin crimson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Proposed deletion of Robert Wade (scholar)
The article Robert Wade (scholar) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Misplaced Pages policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — Jeff G. ツ 10:23, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of List of people on the postage stamps of Iceland
The article List of people on the postage stamps of Iceland has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:LISTN. A seemingly random list, missing many entries (even the very first one, from 1902, Christian IX). Abandoned since its inception in 2010, with hardly anyone interested in it (25 views in 90 days). Sourced to a general catalogue and the homepage of a stamp dealer for some reason.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 15:24, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
