Early life

Moncrief is an American man who was born in the U.S. state of Wisconsin in 1971. When Moncrief was three years old, he and his parents moved to Texas, where they lived for approximately nine months. In 1975, Moncrief's mother - who was not getting along with Moncrief's father and who wanted to be separated from him - took Moncrief and moved to California, where she and Moncrief's father had met, had married, and had lived during the late 1960s. Moncrief's father followed and the three family members attempted, for a time, to live all together again. However, Moncrief's mother and father soon separated again (they divorced in 1979) and Moncrief's father moved to a city approximately 40 miles away. Moncrief is an only child.

Education

Moncrief went to a public elementary school - the same school from kindergarten, which he started in 1976 until the sixth grade, which he completed in 1983. He then attended a private secondary school for grades seven through twelve (1983 - 1989), located in another suburb about 18 miles from where he and his mother were living at the time. During this period, Moncrief and his mother moved to several residences within two suburban communities and his father continued to live separately from them but in the same metropolitan area.

Moncrief's favorite subjects in high school were history and English.

Moncrief attended college in the Midwest (1989 - 1993), and continued to live in that region of the country until December 1998, at which time he moved back to California, where he had grown up.

Redirects

My current passion is REDIRECTS. Let's remember to make redirects! Redirects save time. They lessen the chances of two separate articles on the same topic. They help people find what they're looking for faster. And they're fun and easy! Here's to redirects!

A Favorite Quote That is Relevant to Misplaced Pages

"The Internet has created the most precise mirror of people as a whole that we've yet had. It is not a summary prepared by a social scientist or an élite think tank. It is not the hagiography of an era, condensed by a romantic idealist or a sneering cynic. It is the real us, available for direct inspection for the first time. Our collective window shades are now open. We see the mundanity, the avarice, the ugliness, the perversity, the loneliness, the love, the inspiration, the serendipity, and the tenderness that manifest in humanity. Seen in proportion, we can breath a sigh of relief. We are basically OK."
