Career
He is the originating producer of the upcoming Transformers film for which he attended the Toronto TransformersCon in 2006.
As of 2005, Murphy's AngryFilms was set to produce an adaptation of We3, a DC Comics miniseries, for New Line Cinema; Susan Montford and Rick Benattar are also named in Variety reports.
Personal life
His then-partner, Jane Hamsher, wrote a book about their turbulent process making that film called Killer Instinct. Murphy is a graduate of Chaminade High School and Georgetown University (graduating from the McDonough School of Business in 1985) as well as the USC School of Cinema-Television.
He is married to filmmaker Susan Montford.
