A very beautiful village with village beauty and cultural heritage of Onnatukara.
Vathikulam is a village blessed with places of worship. Vathikulam Devi Temple, Changail Devi Temple, Vathikulam St. Paul's Marthoma Church and Bethel Marthomma Church.
As far as primary schools are concerned, there are two primary schools in Alummoot LPS and Vathikulam LPS.
