Nauman Zakaria is a lieutenant general in the Pakistan Army, currently serving as the commander of the I Corps and the Central Command since May 2024. He previously served as chief of Logistics Staff at the General Headquarters, Rawalpindi.

Biography

Zakaria was commissioned into the army in the 11th Cavalry. He served as the chief engineer and director-general of Military Operations (DG MO) and was also the director-general of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) until October 2022. Prior to his promotion to lieutenant general, he served as the general officer commanding (GOC) of the of the Infantry Division in Quetta.

He has also served as the general officer commanding of the 9th Infantry Division, Waziristan and held the role of director-general Military Operations (DG MO) during his career.
