Xiamen Botanical Garden (XMBG) founded in 1960, is located in the Siming District of Xiamen Island, covering an area of 493 hectares. Over 6,300 species of tropical plants and subtropical plants are preserved in its living collections.

It is classified as a AAAAA scenic area by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (China).
