She routinely targets Muslims for most of her political rants, though she occasionally targets feminists instead (Ms. magazine once called her "Public Enemy #1"). Controversially, Schlussel frequently labels people who support Palestine, or others who disagree with Israel, "terrorists". While many times her research is very thorough and the label more or less on target resulting in exposures that no one else has bothered to uncover, other times her findings, though technically factual, involve an extremely loose connection; Howard Stern, whose radio show she occasionally guest stars on, has jokingly called her column "Six Degrees of Separation to Al-Qaida".
In addition to her columns, she is also an agent who represents several professional athletes.
She has been compared to Anne Coulter, another Conservative columnist, but hasn't achieved the same degree of mainstream exposure. She does have a large Yahoo fan club following partially due to being somewhat of a minor sex symbol to a portion of her male fans (simply by virtue of her good looks and occasional jokes with Howard Stern, as she does not normally promote herself as such).
