The 2007 Toronto International Film Festival will run from Sep 6 to Sep 15, 2007. Opening the festival is the world premiere of Jeremy Podeswa's Fugitive Pieces, a film based on the international bestselling novel by Anne Michaels.

Films already announced to appear at the festival include Kenneth Branagh's Sleuth and Cate Blanchett's The Golden Age, The Coen Brothers' No Country for Old Men, George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead, Honeydripper, Romulus, My Father, The Girl in the Park, Lars and the Real Girl, "Cleaner", Then She Found Me, 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, the 2007 winner of Cannes' Palme D'or, The Tracey Fragments by Bruce McDonald, A Jihad for Love, Le Voyage du Ballon Rouge and The Last Lear by Rituparno Ghosh.
