TTI Telecom (NasdaqTTIL), founded in 1992, is a developer and provider of next generation Operations Support Systems (OSS) to large communications service providers. TTI Telecom is based in Petach Tikva, Israel and operates subsidiaries in 7 other countries.

History

TTI Telecom was incorporated in 1990 and commenced its operations in 1992 as a subsidiary of Team Computers and Systems Ltd., after having operated as a division of Team Computers since 1988. TTI Telecom shares have been traded on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol NasdaqTTIL since an initial public offering of minority stake of its shares in December 1996 when it was still a Team Computers subsidiary. In April 2005, TTI Telecom ceased to be a subsidiary of Team Computers.

Netrac product lines

TTI Telecom’s Netrac product lines address communications service providers’ specific needs in areas such as service, performance and fault management.

Netrac’s major product lines include:

  • Netrac Fault Management product line

Netrac Fault Management product line provides multi-domain alarm surveillance and management capabilities. It detects the root cause of failures using topology data or If-Then-Else alarm correlation rules, and pinpoints services and customers affected by faults. The Fault Management offering manages the resolution of faults via a trouble ticketing system, and automatically solves problems by sending commands to the network equipment.

  • Netrac Performance Management product line

Netrac Performance Management product line performs real-time network and service monitoring and long-term traffic analysis based on performance measurements and xDR records (e.g., CDRs, IPDRs, RADIUS, DIAMETER). It troubleshoots performance and quality degradations before they impact customers, maximizes network utilization and helps operators plan for future network growth.

Netrac Mediation product line provides bidirectional connectivity to the network. It collects data from the network and formats and distributes it to other Netrac modules and third-party systems. It also serves as a platform from which other Netrac modules and external systems can send operational, provisioning, diagnostic and corrective commands to the network. Netrac Mediation product line also includes AutoDiscovery add-on, responsible for automatic detection and discovery of physical and logical network element data and topology.

  • Netrac Implementation Tools product line

Netrac Implementation Tools product line is a framework for integrating systems based on business rules with automated and flexible library-creation and administration tools. This product line includes wizards for creation and automation of fault and performance libraries from SNMP Mibs and an open, industry standards-based API for integration with external systems.

  • Netrac Provisioning product line

Netrac Provisioning product line streamlines the entire provisioning process, translating orders into service implementation activities and tracking the business processes associated with the fulfillment of an order. It also automatically activates services across multi-domain and multi-vendor networks swiftly and error-free.

Patents

TTI Telecom has one registered patent in the United States, issued in 2006, and one patent application pending in Europe. The US patent addresses the functionality of a topology-based reasoning system for root-cause analysis of network faults, a component of the Netrac FaM product line.
