This is a documentation subpage for Template:Cfr.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Used to propose renaming of a category. The template displays the proper links and the recommended {{cfr2}} syntax for the next step.

Usage

{{subst:cfr|proposed new name}}

Used for single nominations. proposed new name is the proposed new name of the category.

{{subst:cfr|proposed new name|Cfd section name}}

Used for group nominations. proposed new name is the proposed new name of the category.

Example

{{subst:cfr|other category|umbrella}} displays:

This category is being considered for renaming to Category:other category. This nomination is part of a discussion of several related categories.

This does not mean that any of the articles in the category will be deleted. They may, however, be recategorized.
