Hello, Vexuspd, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome! StephenBuxton (talk) 11:43, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
After the templated welcome, just like to add a bit more personal hello from a fellow MG contributor! (Albeit not as regular as you...). How are you doing? StephenBuxton (talk) 11:43, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Your question on Images
Hi! Sorry about the delay in responding. Unfortunately, I am not very good with images, and have no experience with uploading them. However, there is a page that should be able to help you which talks you through what you need to do. However, if you are still stuck, you can always drop a line at the Help Desk, where there are a number of people who monitor there who know infinitely more about images than I. Good luck! Conflict of Interest
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Misplaced Pages, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Misplaced Pages article or website of your organization in other articles (see Misplaced Pages:Spam); and,
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Misplaced Pages when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you.Template:Do not delete -- samj in 01:22, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages!
I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Misplaced Pages's username policy for the following reason: You appear to be Vexus Puzzle Design.. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?
I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.
You have several options freely available to you:
- If you can relieve my concern through discussing it here, I can stop worrying about it.
- If the two of us can't agree here, we can ask for help through Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution process, such as requesting comments from other Wikipedians. Misplaced Pages administrators usually abide by agreements reached through this process.
- You can keep your contributions history under a new username. Visit Misplaced Pages:Changing username and follow the guidelines there.
Thank you. -- samj in 01:36, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
