Wine
Lying 15km north-west of the city of Bordeaux, the village is best known for giving its name to one of the six appellations of the great wine-growing regions Médoc. Lacking the prestige of the 'big four' appellations of the region, Moulis and its neighbour Listrac are nonetheless home to many top quality wines, with Moulis' own Château Chasse-Spleen at the top of the list, followed by Poujeaux, Biston Brilette and Moulin-à-Vent.
