Joke

The MakeSysop edit was meant to be joke I didn't realize it would be taken that seriosly I'm sorry PirateSmackK 16:40, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Great, I'll add "lying" to your list of "shit he's done wrong that means AGF no longer applies" shall I? I stopped you from being blocked in an attempt to make a decent contributor out of someone - to have it thrown back in my face like this is infuriating. Ironholds (talk) 16:42, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm not lying it was really meant to be a joke.. PirateSmackK 16:43, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Oh no, I'm not referring to that. When it was first brought up you claimed it was quote "an accident". I stopped you from being blocked when you were pissing around. The idea of a second chance is "a second chance to get things right" not "a second chance to piss around again". Ironholds (talk) 16:44, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm not pissing around I do have mostly good edits, just tried to have a little fun.. :'( I thought its understood that it was a joke when it was first bought up on your talk page so I replied like that ("typo etc") --PirateSmackK 16:48, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
  • No, it wasn't understood as a joke. You're under mentoring and editing supervision precisely because you were pissing around and "trying to have a little fun". The terms of you not being blocked were that you would cease such behavior - you have not. Please explain in what dimension tricking a 'crat into giving you admin tools is considered "a little fun" rather than "potentially highly disruptive to the wiki during the period a new, under-supervision user who was almost blocked has admin tools"? Ironholds (talk) 16:52, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I went a bit too far with that one I know :'( PirateSmackK 16:54, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Not socking

Re:this - I'm not a sockpuppet or puppeteer. If there's a suspicion that I might have created another account you are free to checkuser me. My edits after 2nd ANI weren't really disruptive if you take a look. He just found one joke edit and blocked me, although I'm sorry for making that joke edit. And after the block was placed everyone decided to go against me; even Ironholds who was telling about expanding articles just before the block overturned immediately. PirateSmackK 12:36, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes, that's how it works. Misplaced Pages is not divided into "friends" and "enemies" - if people I like or support screw up, I bind them over about it. Same as if they're people I don't like. You can't cry foul play because "he was nice to me, and then I fucked around and he wasn't!". The issue was more than just one "joke" edit - you were not blocked before because you agreed to not piss around. You pissed around. Can you understand why that "one joke edit" might have wider implications than it would coming from a user with a squeaky-clean log? Ironholds (talk) 12:39, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Adding to Ironholds' comments, you have never accepted constructive feedback or accepted responsibility for any of your disruptive actions. Rather, you consistently and transparently invoke AGF and/or accuse others of malfeasance and have outright lied about your actions. I don't see any reason to believe that this will change. Request reason:

No more joke edits from now

Decline reason:

You had a chance; consensus now is against unblock. --Anthony.bradbury 14:28, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
