Thanks for uploading Image:GTAIII Joey & Misty.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:15, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi
Hi there, first off let me apologize for whoever is breaking into my system and leaving trash on these pages. Most of the info is true but this person totally exaggerates it to the point that he might get me blocked for good! It's just his way of getting back at me since we share the same network he feels he can write dumb things! I only post very little now because of this. So once I get my laptop i'm goinig to get a new network and IP so this won't happen and I can start posting more often on the topics of music, wrestling, and nicknames. Once again I apologize and if you have to block this IP address I understand, just TRY not to block me! ha ha Write me back on my talk page if you'd like! Chitpantzer (talk) 06:08, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Hey, if you want to, have someone block all users under my IP address except THIS one which is "Snuffereet" I think it's the only way I'll have privacy to edit without these idiots getting into my account. I have to call the cable company and get my IP switched so this nonsense won't happen anymore. Thanks! -Snuffereet —Preceding unsigned comment added by Snuffereet (talk • contribs) 03:06, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Template:IAR
A tag has been placed on Template:IAR requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Disculpas
Gracias.
Saludos.

Image:Castleshaw plan 1908.jpg
I've deleted the image as there is a copy of it already on commons. You were correct to delete it initially as it was incorrectly licensed, however it was actually free in the UK (its country of origin) as it was over 70 years old. In future, if you come across a file incorrectly lisenced (ie: as the Castleshaw plan was) it would be better to correctly lisence it if possible rather than delete it. Thanks. Misplaced Pages:Cleaning up vandalism/Did you know
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Misplaced Pages:Cleaning up vandalism/Did you know, by another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Misplaced Pages:Cleaning up vandalism/Did you know is a test page.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Misplaced Pages:Cleaning up vandalism/Did you know, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.

Battery Ventures
I am working on creating articles on notable private equity firms as part of the Private Equity Task Force. I noticed you deleted an article started for Battery Ventures way back in 2005. Although the article may have failed to express it, this is a notable firm. I am not sure what condition the article was in when it was deleted. It would be great if you could restore the text as a subpage in my user space User:Urbanrenewal/Battery Ventures and I will get it in shape. |► ϋrbanяenewaℓ • TALK ◄| 16:48, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

User:Die4Dixie block question
Hello. The user asked me to review your block. Having googletranslated the text, while it is not the nicest statement, wouldn't it deserve a civility warning, at most? A 72 hour block seems severe. However, there may be some innuendo specific to Spanish that I do not recognize. Can you comment? Otherwise, I would think that the block was too severe of a response relative to the infraction. -- Avi (talk) 05:48, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Avi, please take a look at User_talk:Jmundo too. This is an unusual block, done under unusual circumstances - in particular take notice of some background. Thank you. --Cerejota (talk) 05:59, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, but Avi is correct here. I don't see the block was warranted without a single warning issued to the user. I'd recommend reconsideration of the block. Regards SoWhy 07:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Except netito DID warn him, and jmundo made fun of the warning. -- m:drini 19:35, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, but Avi is correct here. I don't see the block was warranted without a single warning issued to the user. I'd recommend reconsideration of the block. Regards SoWhy 07:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- There is a difference between a warning and a threat. One assumes good faith, is civil, and usually done with formality. The other in bad faith, is uncivil, and informal. To call Netito's comment a warning stretches the meaning of the word - as generally viewed in en-wiki. There is a we have to assume that Jmundo didn't heed the "warning" in good faith, the same good faith you showed in not investigating the matter more deeply before adjudicating. In particular, other means of dispute resolution should have been sought - for example, you could have asked Jmundo to stop before blocking, or a WP:DRAMA report done. A stealth block, in particular given the background between all the users involved, is hard to defend as having contributed to making the encyclopedia better - as Jmundo is an editor in good standing, and a valuable contributor to WP:PUR. There was no good faith indication Jmundo's behavior was disruptive and that the other users were being kept from editing in a civil environment.
- I suggest, again, that you apologize and let it drop, we all make mistakes. --Cerejota (talk) 20:15, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I came here to say much the same thing. Die4Dixie has posted a translation on his talk page which, if accurate, does not in any way warrant a block, especially one without a formal warning. Please reconsider. Theresa Knott | token threats 09:45, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, Drini. Thanks for responding. I have a question on User talk:Die4Dixie, if you could look there, please. -- Avi (talk) 12:58, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- I had a response lost in the edit conflict. My question was would you consider a reduction to time served, not an overturn? -- Avi (talk) 13:01, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you, Drini. I'm glad this was able to be discussed without too much unnecessary WikiDrama . I think D4D knows the score now, and any further civility issues should be met by stricter blocks (3 days, a week, etc.) -- Avi (talk) 13:12, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- I had a response lost in the edit conflict. My question was would you consider a reduction to time served, not an overturn? -- Avi (talk) 13:01, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
In regard to User Jmundo, I have received a request to unblock him. After viewing the situation I believe that there may have been an overreaction and that said block may have been unjustified over a simple issue which could have been solved in a simple discussion after the posting of a proper warning. I have therefore lifted the block with the intention that a civil dialogue can be carried out. Thnak you. Tony the Marine (talk) 14:13, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Re:Do Not Lie
Hello Drini, I received your message. I hope in the future everybody can sort things out by way of discussion first. One thing that I can't understand is your following message:
"DO NOT LIE : You state that I've been harassing Jmundo for a while. That's a gross misstatement, and I ask you to retreat it or prove that I harass it. I only applied a block for NPA after he mocked an user warning him."
I think that you must have meant it for someone else and by mistake posted it on "talk" page because I have never acussed you nor anybody for that matter of "harassing Jmundo for a while". If it is a mistake consider it forgotten. Tony the Marine (talk) 18:50, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Can you take a look at the Spanish Misplaced Pages? Beto and Netito thinks is right to address me as a child, "a ver muchacho"(1) and "a ver niño" (2). Suggestion
Hello Drini, I strongly suggest to all of the parties involved to put an end to the fighting and to stop making accusations and interacting in heated disputes with each others. In the event that this does not seem possible then I asked them to seek the intervention of a mediator (Not me because I am burned out from three previous mediations and I need a rest). I hope that they all take my advice and stop using my talk page as a battleground. Take care. Tony the Marine (talk) 22:19, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Why was HP Web Jetadmin deleted?
Yesterday I was going to create the article "HP Web Jetadmin" but found that the article had previously existed and had been deleted by you on May 21, 2006. The only information about the deletion is your summary: "proded". I take it that you mean the page was proposed for deletion and that, after a period of time with no objections, you deleted the page. But I'm still wondering why the page was proposed for deletion. I know I'm three years late, but, um, I object. HP Web Jetadmin is the successor to the now-obsolete HP Jetadmin, which was legitimately listed in the article "List of Control Panel applets (Windows)" and which now has its own article that I created. (The list article already contained a link to the page, indicating that someone thought it should exist, and I agree.) HP Web Jetadmin is a free application provided on HP's web site, and it is the preferred application for simultaneous administration of multiple Hewlett-Packard network peripherals, including printers. The NIST Security Checklists published by HP for use on LaserJet MFPs instruct administrators to use HP Web Jetadmin. Some of the security features can not be configured through the embedded web server, making a tool such as HP Web Jetadmin necessary to achieve the recommended configuration. For these reasons and others, I consider HP Web Jetadmin a noteworthy piece of software. Can we discuss undeleting the article?
