80% of area does not mean 80% of oil and gas reserves

Indeed, EUobserver states that The verdict - which cannot be appealed - means Romania can exploit 80 percent of the 100 billion cubic metres of gas and 15 million tonnes of crude oil in the disputed zone, leaving the rest to Ukraine. But it would be correct if the reserves are evenly distributed over the area. There is no evidence that this is the case. If a journalist from EUobserver made a mistake or unjustified assertion, it is not a reason to repeat it here.
