The TNA X Division Championship is a title competed for in the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling professional wrestling promotion.
X Division
This championship is competed for by wrestlers of the X division, where a high-flying, high risk style of wrestling is used. Rather than emphasizing the fact that most wrestlers who perform this style are under 250 lbs (115 kg) by calling it a "cruiserweight division", TNA decided to emphasize the high risk nature of the moves these wrestlers perform by calling it the "X Division", making it a key attraction of the company.
The slogan for the X Division has been "it's not about weight limits, it's about no limits.."
Current champion
Samoa Joe is the current X Division Champion in his first reign. Samoa Joe defeated A.J. Styles at Turning Point on December 11, 2005.
Title history
Twelve different wrestlers have won the X Division Championship. Of them, five (A.J. Styles, Jerry Lynn, Matt Bentley (Michael Shane), Chris Sabin, and Frankie Kazarian) have won the belt at least twice. Styles is the only wrestler with more than two reigns, with a total of five.

2. Defeated Jerry Lynn and A.J. Styles in a three-way match.
3. Defeated Low-Ki and A.J. Styles in a three-way ladder match.
4. Won a ladder match. Earlier on, Jerry Lynn sustained a knee injury and the title was vacated. Other participants were: Tony Mamaluke, Joel Maximo, Jose Maximo, Ace Steele, Kid Kash, A.J. Styles, Rick Michaels and Chris Michaels.
5. Defeated Amazing Red and Jerry Lynn in a three-way match.
6. Defeated Chris Sabin and Kazarian in an Ultimate X match.
7. Defeated Michael Shane, Christopher Daniels and Low-Ki in an Ultimate X match.
8. Defeated Amazing Red to win the vacated title. Chris Sabin was stripped of the title when he injured his knee.
9. Michael Shane and Kazarian were declared co-champions when both grabbed the belt at the same time in an Ultimate X match.
10. Won a 22-Man International X-Division Gauntlet match. Other participants were: Kazarian, Sonjay Dutt, Jerry Lynn, Chad Collyer, Chris Vaughn, D-Ray 3000, Joey Matthews, Mikey Batts, Jerrelle Clark, Kid Kash, L.A. Park, Miyamoto, Nosawa, Psicosis, A.J. Styles, Michael Shane, and Shark Boy.
11. Defeated Chris Sabin and Petey Williams in an Ultimate X match.
12. Defeated A.J. Styles, Ron Killings, and Elix Skipper in an Ultimate X Challenge match.
13. Defeated Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe in a three-way match.
