She was born on November 2th 1965 in Užice, Yugoslavia (now Serbia and Montenegro).
Mićić graduated as a lawyer, and became the Clerk of the Užice Municipal Court in the early 90s. She left that post in 1998 for a lawyer career. She became one of the founders of the Otpor movement, and acted as their spokesperson and legal counsel. After career as a lawyer, she became the vice-president of National Assembly of Serbia in January 2001. On December 6th 2001 she became the president of the National Assembly and the chairman of the Constitutional Committee of the Assembly. After the mandate of Milan Milutinović as the president of Serbia expired, she became acting President of Serbia on December 30th 2002. After the assassination of Zoran Đinđić she declared a state of emergency immediately following the shooting.
Trivia
Her nickname is "Nicole Kidman", because of alleged similarity with the actress.
