The Indus (known as Sindhu in ancient times) is a river in Pakistan after which India is named. It flows from the Himalayas approximately southwest to the Indian Ocean.

Indus (the Indian) is a southern constellation introduced by Johann Bayer. It is supposed to represent an American Indian.
