Samahni is a scenic and pollution-free valley in Azad Kashmir surrounded by mountains covered in pine trees. Most of the inhabitants speak Pahari, with some Punjabi influence. Urdu is still spoken and understood among the villagers.
Important locations include:
- Jandi Chontra, about 1000 meters above sea level, a scenic spot that is an eastern gateway to Samani valley
- Baghsar Lake
- Samahni town
- Baba Shadi Shaheed, shrine for a 16th century ruler Shadab Khan, descendant of the Chib dynasty in Bhimber.
- Chowki
- Bindi
- Jandala
- Poona
The Samahni valley is about 35 km long and 8 km wide, stretching from Chawlian to Behmla in the West.

DANA: BROH
BROH BROH is the most forward vilege on LOC. Broh is almos 3.5 km far from chowki.Broh has a boys high school and a girls inter college 'İt also have a few primary schools .Students of broh mostly goes to degree college sumhani.And girls goes to degree college chowki. Broh is a beautiful place .From broh you can see the cold mountains of himalya in the indian side of kashmir. İn broh the peoples of all families are living friendly . Peoples of broh are forming.But a large number of young guys are workıng ın abroad .Most of them are in arab states ;some of the peoples are working in england spain and other europen countries.
