Roxanne Pallett (born 26 December 1983) is a British actress, who is most famous for playing the role of Jo Stiles in the soap opera Emmerdale. In 2006, she appeared in the reality singing competition Soapstar Superstar .

Roxanne Pallett, 23, was born and brought up in Carlisle, Cumbria, by her mother and grandmother.

After completing a degree in media at Liverpool University, she landed her first acting role as Jo Stiles in ITV1's Emmerdale.

Roxanne might be one of Emmerdale’s freshest faces, but the astute actress has already built up a firm following amongst the soap faithful. Roxanne is no stranger to hogging the on-screen limelight. But she’s also fairly aux-fait with taking centre stage, too. Before joining Emmerdale in 2005, Roxanne was the founder member of girl band, Urban Angle. When they didn’t quite make it, she went solo. But after being signed to a music producer, the call from Emmerdale arrived, and Roxanne decided to pursue her acting dream.

Roxanne has been linked to a number of eligible bachelors including Max Beesley, Dean Gaffney, Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman and young British singer Jimmy Vaughan.
