The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA) is an independent, non-profit think tank located in Jerusalem. Its research focuses on Israeli foreign policy in general, and --- in particular --- on Israel's rights under International Law in the context of the Arab-Israeli conflict. According to the organization's website, the JCPA "focuses on the main issues affecting Israel's security and international standing in order to wage the war of ideas in global opinion" and "has developed and implemented an array of cutting-edge programs to present Israel's case to the world". The organization was founded in 1976 by Daniel J. Elazar, and is now headed by Dore Gold, an Israeli statesman. Gold has represented Israel in several diplomatic posts and served as adviser to prime ministers Ariel Sharon and Benjamin Netanyahu.

  • Prof. Shlomo Avineri of Hebrew University, former director general of the Foreign Ministry
  • Maj.-Gen. (Res.) Giora Eiland, head of Israel’s National Security Council and responsible for designing the disengagement
  • Ambassador Freddy Eytan, former Israeli Ambassador to Mauritania
  • Maj.-Gen. Benny Gantz, head of IDF Northern Command
  • Brig.-Gen. (res.) Shalom Harari, a senior advisor on Palestinian affairs for Israel’s Defense Ministry

  • Dr. Ephraim Kam, Deputy Head of the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies at Tel Aviv University

  • Ambassador Uri Lubrani, Advisor to the Minister of Defense, former Israeli Ambassador to Iran, and Advisor on Arab Affairs to Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion
  • Ambassador Zvi Mazel, former Israeli Ambassador to Egypt and Sweden
  • Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh, head of IDF Central Command
  • Dr. Robbie Sabel, former legal adviser to the Israel Foreign Ministry
  • Professor Gerald M. Steinberg, Director of the Program on Conflict Management and Negotiation at Bar-Ilan University
  • Col. (Res.) Danny Tirza, the IDF’s chief architect for the security fence
  • Journalist Khaled Abu Toameh, who has been reporting on Palestinian affairs since 1989
  • Lt.-Gen. Moshe Ya’alon, former IDF Chief of Staff
  • Maj.-Gen. Aharon Zeevi Farkash, former head of IDF Intelligence
  • Lt. Colonel Jonathan Dahoah-Halevi, former military intelligence officer and currently also a journalist, published many reports (in Hebrew) on Human rights organizations claiming that many of those they classified as civilians were actually activists in terrorist groups and\or took active part in the fighting against Israel.
